Ottoman religious architecture in Croatia

Objective: To provide a description and analysis of built, surviving, lost Ottoman religious monuments in Croatia within the historical sociopolitical context. Methods: Based on relevant published sources, maps, online as well site analysis, we architectural, religious, cultural heritage contemporary Croatian regions Dalmatian hinterland Slavonia. This includes art interpretation remains three surviving 16th-century domed mosques towns: Klis (today, Catholic Church St. Vitus Fortress), Drniš (now incorporated into Anthony held by Franciscans), Đakovo All Saints).
